How I turned to Amazon for fashion: Last summer I had purchased a gown for a black tie wedding and went to a seamstress for what I thought were simple alterations. Fast forward 6 days before the wedding, I go to pick up the dress to find the alterations had been butchered and my gown was no longer wearable. As I was running out of time, I began searching on Amazon remembering how quick everything can be delivered with Prime. And there she was! An off-the-shoulder black gown with the perfect length slit. I ordered it without thinking twice even though I was a little nervous about the quality. To my surprise, it came and was perfect. AND ONLY $19. I’ve had hits and misses since then on Amazon but now I simple filter by 4 stars and up which has worked very much so in my favor!
